Assessment and Intervention Services
Hopalong offers assessment and intervention at our centres or your child’s school or home. Occupational therapy is most effective when the activities are meaningful. Our therapists provide individualised programs to meet the specific needs and interests of your child using evidence based therapies. We develop fun home programs and have clinically selected equipment available for purchase in accessible Play Packs. We can also order therapeutic equipment for use at your child’s school or home.
Hopalong runs group programs in the school holidays. We also offer training and consultancy to preschools and schools.
Hopalong therapists are registered with all private health funds and Medicare for you to access a rebate. Rebates vary across health funds so contact your fund for up to date amounts.
Speak to your GP about your child’s eligibility to access rebates through the Chronic Disease Management Care Plan and/or Better Access to Mental Health Care Plan.
Hopalong can also accept NDIS Self Managed and Plan Managed Funding (not NDIA Managed).
